About Thompson Tales

A family-run independent publisher

Thompson Tales Publishing creates original stories, books, educational resources, and theatrical works for children, families, and readers of all ages. Our publishing journey began with The Legend of the Thompson Goldbloods, the flagship series that helped shape the heart of our imprint, and continues to grow with new characters, new worlds, and new stories still to come.

Every story has a beginning. Ours began with a shared belief that storytelling can inspire curiosity, strengthen families, preserve history, encourage imagination, and create memories that last far beyond the final page. What started with one story inspired by real Montana landscapes, family experiences, and a love of lifelong learning has grown into an independent publishing imprint devoted to creating meaningful, imaginative works across a widening range of stories and genres.
